Delete your AnonyChat profile or your AnonyID

You can delete your AnonyChat profile and keep your AnonyID, or delete your AnonyID, which deletes your AnonyChat profile too. Both are permanent and can't be undone. If you want a copy of your data, download it first in Settings → Privacy & data. If you made your profile with AnonyID, ask us for a copy through My tickets instead.

Delete your AnonyChat profile

1. Go to Settings → Account and open Account & danger zone.
2. Select Delete your AnonyChat profile. Before you confirm, the screen lists what is deleted and what stays.
3. Confirm that it is you. For a profile made with your AnonyID, select Confirm with AnonyID and sign in to your AnonyID again: the profile is deleted as soon as you are back. An account with an AnonyChat password asks for that password.

What happens

• Your messages, conversations, friends and profile are deleted.
• Your Coins, Aura+, your avatar items and any open custom order are lost. Nothing is refunded.
• Rooms you own pass to their longest-serving moderator, or are deleted if there is none.
• Other people's messages, gifts you sent them and moderation evidence already preserved stay, with your name removed.
• Encrypted backups can hold a copy for up to 30 days, until they expire.

Your AnonyID stays, and you can make a new AnonyChat profile with it later, unless the profile was banned or in Prison when you deleted it.
