Install the app and get notifications
Add AnonyChat to your home screen or desktop, and choose which notifications reach your device.
AnonyChat works in your browser. You can also install it like an app: it then opens in its own window and can send notifications to your device.
Install
- Android, and Chrome or Edge on a computer: choose Install when AnonyChat offers it, or use the install option in your browser's menu. Where your browser supports it, Settings → Notifications has an Install button too.
- iPhone and iPad: open AnonyChat in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. Other browsers on iOS can't install it, so open the page in Safari first.
Notifications
- The bell shows your notifications, for example when someone accepts your friend request or when a report you made has been reviewed.
- To get notifications on your device, turn them on in Settings → Notifications and allow them when your browser asks. On an iPhone, install the app first.
- On the same page you can set Quiet hours, choose whether a notification shows the sender and the message text, and turn sounds and vibration on or off for the device you are using.
