Welcome to AnonyChat
What you can do in AnonyChat (rooms, direct messages, friends, Meet and Aura) and where to start.
AnonyChat is a chat app for adults (18 and over). You sign in with your AnonyID, the one account for the Anony Labs apps, and you take part under a display name you choose, in your browser or as an installed app.
What you can do
- Rooms: group chats on all kinds of topics. Find them on Explore, join the ones you like, or create your own.
- Direct messages: one-to-one conversations with the people you meet.
- Friends: add people so you can find them again.
- Meet: swipe through cards of people who are online now and whose "Interested in" setting matches yours, and say hello to the ones you like.
- Aura: your reputation and your in-app currency in one number. You earn it by taking part.
First steps
- Finish your profile: a bio, your languages and an avatar, on Edit profile.
- Join a room or two from Explore.
- Choose who can message you in Settings → Contact & safety.
The Community Guidelines apply in every room and every conversation. Please read them before you start.
