How do I create an AnonyID?
Create an AnonyID in three short steps: account, date of birth and an optional recovery e-mail.
You can create an AnonyID on the Create account page, or from the sign-in page of an Anony Labs app. It takes three short steps, and nothing is saved until the last one.
- Account: choose a Login username and a Password. The username is private and never shown to anyone. It must be 3–32 lowercase letters, digits, dots, dashes or underscores. The password needs at least 10 characters, letters and at least one digit or symbol, and must not contain your username. Type the password again under Confirm password.
- Date of birth: enter your date of birth and confirm your age. You must be 16 or older to create an AnonyID. To use AnonyChat you must be 18 or older.
- Recovery e-mail (optional): an address that is only used to help you get back in. We send a code to confirm it. You can also choose Skip.
- Select Create account.
Save your recovery code
After the last step you see Save your recovery code. If you ever lose your password or your second step, this code gets you back in. It is shown only once, so write it down or save it in your password manager. Then select I've saved it, continue.
If you entered a recovery e-mail, you then confirm it with the code from the e-mail.
Next steps
You can add a passkey, an authenticator app or a recovery e-mail later in your AnonyID settings.
